When I received news that the mighty Sunland Baobab had fallen, I knew that I needed to go and pay my respects to this, my beloved tree.

She had coincidentally fallen in the same week that our house burnt to the ground, and in that fire, all my sketchbooks that I had created of my first encounters with this magnificent tree were destroyed.
